Based in England, the client is an online business information provider helping various organisations, multinationals and establishments to search & find the key company details they need.

Requirements and Specifications

The client needed to populate and constantly update the portal with the listings of the private limited companies in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. The data had to be searched, verified from the web sources & required to be entered into the client portal. Details about the companies, having more than 10 years of working history, need to be filled into the portal. The client also required data cleansing and the complete removal of non-relevant or inactive companies. While looking for an offshore data management partner, the client put forth the following requisites.

Teams assigned

There was a fundamental need for professionals adept at entering company details as there was no room for errors and inefficiency. We assigned 3 research experts, one business data entry expert, one quality control analyst, and a project coordinator to work on this project full-time, with a delivery output (both post codes and business data entry) of 5,000 per day.

Process

  • We receive the list of postcodes and a list of company names in the form of CSV file which we convert into excel format
  • From the given postcodes list, our experts begin the search for company address, company location, town, county and country
  • From a link provided by the client, we gather the data of directors (contact details, company joining & exiting details etc) along with the total number of employees
  • The experts carefully compile all the data and logs into the client s online portal using the provided credentials
  • The experts then upload the data (Company location, company address, company directors, directors contact details, number of employees, SIC description, SIC code, incorporation date, company registration number, town, county, country) of each business in the client portal, which was supervised by a quality control analyst
  • We maintained the agreed-upon deadline in both postcode search and business data entry procedures. The daily volume of postcode search was 5000+ every day by each expert (three in total) and the daily volume of business data entry was 5000+ every day by one designated expert
  • We communicated with the client every day with a precise project status to keep them informed about the delivery status and progress

  • The client expected us to complete the humongous work volume quickly while maintaining 99% accuracy
  • To complete the project on time, the team extended the working hours to meet the client deadlines as promised

Work volume, Quality, Accuracy & Turnaround

Each expert was responsible for delivering 5000 entries in a day. With 3 agile and experienced professionals working on the project, we were able to submit 15,000 entries in a day. Eventually, we accomplished the target of 15,00,000 entries. We maintained 99% accuracy as expected by the client.
