Overview

The project consisted of developing and implementing a Power BI dashboard for an agricultural company that supplies raw materials to the clothing industry, embodying the “Farm to Fashion” concept. The project demanded expertise , knowledge and skills to get accurate results. The goal was to achieve accurate and precise data insights that can improve decision-making processes. Another primary goal was to convert stock data in Excel sheets into a dynamic and interactive Power BI dashboard.

Project Background

The client collected as well as generated lump sum data which was hectic for internal resources to manage and get insights. The agricultural company faced major challenges in managing and analyzing vast amounts of stock data stored in Excel sheets. Agriculture company opted for a comprehensive solution of Power BI that helps to improve data management, enhance visibility, support data-driven decision-making and enable better visualization for detailed analysis of data.

Approach

  • Data Collection and Integration
  • Transformed data from the existing stock Excel sheets into Power BI. This helped us to get data accuracy and consistency through thorough data cleaning, structuring and formatting.

  • Dashboard Design and Development:

Designed a user-friendly dashboard layout with intuitive navigation. Developed interactive visualizations, including charts, graphs, and maps, to display key metrics such as stock levels, supply chain efficiency, and sales performance. With a user -friendly Power BI dashboard we had hands-on real-time data updates to offer most current insights.

  • Implementation and Training:

Rolled out the Power BI dashboard across the company’s departments. Conducted training sessions to ensure staff could effectively use and interpret the dashboard.
